![]() We talked about how our acquisition of Sinergise will accelerate our Earth Data Platform. We showed some demos of how AI-based change detection in PlanetScope is tipping and cueing SkySat satellites to detect and understand change today, from the Amazon and in the deserts of Algeria. The future is not just about imagery it’s about computers fusing multiple data sources, and running algorithms to automatically identify objects, patterns, and time series. Next up: we announced the launch of Planetary Variables in Planet APIs. Designed to detect and locate methane and CO2 super-emitters, it also has use cases from mining to biodiversity to defense. With satellite comms + onboard compute, we aim to do sub-hour capture to delivery.Īnd then there’s Tanager, our upcoming hyperspectral constellation with over 400 5nm spectral bands. We covered our new high-res low-latency Pelican constellation and our 30/30/30/30 goal: 30 satellites, 30cm res, up to 30 revisits per day, 30 mins between revisits. Then we talked about a new product called Analysis-Ready PlanetScope-temporally and spatially consistent, harmonized using Sentinel/Landsat/MODIS/VIIRS, co-registered for easy time-series analysis or analytical modeling. Speaking of AI, remember how our partner Synthetaic used Planet data to track the Chinese spy balloon back across the US and Canada to its launch in the South China Sea? We talked about the power of our 2400-day archive of the Earth. Wait until the end for more □, or see the tweets with photos here: Will Marshall and I just finished our keynotes (with a fireside from in Brad Smith between) and we had a lot to announce-including some next-gen AI/GPT demos w/ Microsoft. Hello from Planet Explore, our annual customer + partner conference.
